a) Help facilitate dialogue and understanding between different faith
expressions
b) Coordinate and promote dialogue groups and their activities across
the nation
c) Cooperate with like-minded organizations at home and abroad
- Education & Multifaith/Interfaith Literacy
a) Maintain Canada's most exhaustive interfaith, multifaith,
and faith community database
b) Develop and support interfaith and multifaith
curricula for use in schools and colleges
c) Provide interfaith training for interfaith groups and individuals
d) Certification of interfaith practitioners
e) General training of those responsible for world religions, multifaith and interfaith education in school
- Consultative & Extended Services
a) Conflict resolution team
- Work closely with police and judicial authorities to mediate and
resolve matters of religious conflict in Canada
b) External/Task-Driven
- Work closely with all levels of government to promote interfaith
harmony and cooperation
- Conflict resolution team (eg. assist police)
c) Corporate services
- Provide a fee-based consultative service to the private and public
sectors to: develop awareness of interfaith etiquette and protocols;
help meet the needs of people of diverse faiths who are employees,
customers and contacts of such organizations.
d) Production
- Produce interfaith-related media: directories, brochures, books, TV,
radio, PR web-based communications

interfaith dialogue at a Canadian university
- Build a Canadian
Interfaith Centre

world or UN day to create a national "Interfaith Day"
- Make organization a
clearing house and source authority in the field of interfaith dialogue
and world religions education.
